The Baines Motorsport Team this year moves into its 14 year of racing speedway karts .

Team member consist of Alana (mum) , Wayne (dad) and 17 year old son Jake.

In the early years eldest son Mitchell did race for a while but decided to take up other interests.

Orginally started when Alana decided to race , Wayne followed a year later and then once old enough to race Jake started .

The team has had success throughout it's period of competition and those results can be foun in the About Us section .

This success has been acheived from the support given primarily from Hopping's Mowers , Parramatta Kart Warehouse and  TT Engines . 

To date 2009 saw the teams best results so far .

At round 5 of the Championship Alana won 3 out of 4 races to take the class round win , Jake won 4 from 4 to take the class round win and

Wayne won 4 from 4 race to take the round win . In addition wayne and jake tied as the overall high points for the day .

At seasons end Alana , Wayne and Jake won their Class Championships and Wayne additionally was the Clubs Overall

Champion and the Australian Champion .

The team are proud members of the New South Wales Speedway Kart Club and the Central Coast Speedway Kart Club and have been for the 14 years .

If you come to the track be sure to come up and say hello you wont be able to miss the beatuifully presented number 14 & 47

This year the team will be competing at Nepean Motorsport Complex and the Gosford Showground
